History

Having been involved in grassroots mission work since 1994, I have carried a growing burden that, despite two thousand years of Christian history and significant missionary efforts, a large portion of the world's population still has limited or no meaningful access to the Gospel.

This led me to ask an important question: Why has the Great Commission not yet been fulfilled?

In searching for answers, one possible explanation is that official statistics may not fully reflect the actual number of believers. Even if we assume that the true number of Christians is significantly higher than reported, it still does not adequately explain why billions of people remain unreached or under-reached.

One of the most compelling realities is that our collective efforts have often been concentrated in areas where the Gospel is already reached. As a result, many communities continue to receive repeated attention, while countless villages, neighborhoods, and people groups around the world still have little or no opportunity to hear the Good News.

This global reality calls for prayerful reflection and strategic realignment. We must honestly evaluate our priorities, stewardship, and methods. Fulfilling the Great Commission requires more than increasing activity—it requires ensuring that our people, resources, partnerships, and efforts are intentionally directed toward those who remain unreached.

This is a time to rethink our strategies, strengthen collaboration, embrace accurate data, and work together so that every community, everywhere, has the opportunity to hear, understand, and respond to the Gospel.

Taking these observations and concerns to the Lord in fasting and prayer, I sought His guidance for a way forward. During this time, the Lord burdened my heart to launch the Inherit Initiative—a new paradigm for reaching the nations. It is inspired by the principle found in Exodus 23:30, where God declares that He will lead His people forward little by little until they become fruitful and inherit the land. This revealed that God's strategy is not merely about rapid expansion but about developing people, building capacity, and preparing communities for lasting transformation.
